Curriculum Vitae

Born in Milan in 1948, he graduated in architecture in 1974; he was a screenwriter at Bozzetto Film until 1978 when he created the three films of SIGNOR ROSSI with the studio Bozzetto ALLEGRO NON TROPPO. Founder of the theatre group QUELLIDIGROCK (1974) Since 1979, he has been writing and directing about ten feature films for cinema, including RATATAPLAN (1979) a HO FATTO SPLASH (1980) LADRI DI SAPONETTE (1988) VOLERE VOLARE (1990) LUNA E L'ALTRATO (1997) HONOLULU BABY (2002) works for television (QUOVADIZ 1984 PISTA!) 1986 MAMMAMIA! 2002) directed two TV films (DOTT: CLOWN 2008 , AGATA AND ULISSE 2009) and several theatrical and opera performances. He signed the direction of two animated TV series (NEVE&GLIZ 2006 and TEEN DAYS 2010 ) For three years on the board of directors of CINECITTA' HOLDING (1997- 1999), participated in various juries at international festivals including Berlin (1998) Cannes (1999) Montreal (2000) Winner of numerous international festivals, Nastri d'rgento and David di Donatello, some of his films have been successfully distributed in many countries. For six years (2005 - 2010), he was Artistic Director of the International Festival of Trento. Over the years, he has been teaching at the Centro Sperimentale animation section of Turin, the Catholic University of Milan and the Civic School of Cinema in Milan, which he also directed in 2009/2010. For two years, he has been working on the project of an animated film for children about the life of St. Francis.

MAIN AREAS OF SCIENTIFIC INTEREST

In relation to the activity carried out, I have dealt directly with theatre, cinema, television and advertising. Organization of international meetings, Film festivals, cartoons, mixed media films, digital effects, DVD authoring, training projects, team building, public speaking. Educational interventions for schools of all levels, university courses, film schools with particular attention to production / organization of the set, screenplay and direction.
