Main Professional and Research Experiences

Currently I'm teaching Tourism Psychology, Audiovisual Communication Psychology, Effective Communication Techniques 2 (Oral Communication), Public Speaking, and Professional Writing. I'm trainer also in different Master's programs (since 2009). Author and speaker of the «Laurea, che impresa!» seminars on strategies and methods for thesis preparation (since 2006) and group coach in sessions for students in orientation and personal development activities.

Since 2000, I'm engaged in teaching and training activities in academia, organizations, and education. Professional Coach certification from the ICF International Coach Federation ACSTH and AICP Italian Association of Professional Coaches. Currently I'm the President of the Scientific Committee of InspiringPR (Ferpi Triveneto), member of the National Scientific Committee of FerpiLAB, member of the Scientific Board of the Master in Manager in Intergenerational Environment and Tourism, ARIPT FoRP, member of the Scientific Committee of the journal Tourism and Psychology, Padova University Press, and a Scientific Committee Member of the International Association Via Querinissima, from myth to history.

I was member of the University Quality Council of the IULM University from 2013 to 2017.

Adjunct Professor of Psychosociology of Cultural Consumption at the Academy of Fine Arts in Verona "G.B. Cignaroli" from 2016 to 2018.

Adjunct Professor of Consumer Psychology and Psychology of Economic Behavior and Consumption at the University of Bicocca (Milan) from 2012 to 2013.

Research Fellow for the Calipse project "Food behaviors in multicultural contexts. A psychosocial study of decision-making processes" at IULM University from 2011 to 2013.

Organizing Committee Chair of the 5th International Conference on Multidisciplinary Perspectives on Child and Teen Consumption (CTC) held at IULM University in Milan from December 11 to 14, 2012.

Adjunct Professor of Psychosocial Research Methodology on Consumer Behavior at IULM University in Feltre in 2006/07.
Research Fellow for the project "Processes of construction of identities and personal and social roles in consumer behaviors: the symbolic dynamics," IULM University, 2002/04.

Between 2001/02 and 2003/04, I was co-responsible for the National Interest Research titled "Membership, leadership, and conflicts: mobbing/bullying in interpersonal and social relationships" (2001) and "Processes of identification and value dynamics" (2002) conducted for MIUR at Ca' Foscari University (Venice).

Education and Training

Professional Coaching Program, ICF International Coach Federation ACSTH diploma (USA), and AICP Italian Association of Professional Coaches, obtained in 2018 at InCoaching®.

Ph.D. in Human Interactions: Psychology of Consumption, Behavior, and Communication at IULM University in Milan (2011) in joint supervision with the Université de Picardie Jules Verne (Amiens, France), with the thesis: "Imperfect evaluations and choices in the face of money. Perspectives on decision-making scenarios in experts and laypeople beyond Bounded Rationality Theory (grade: Excellent with honors / Mention très honorable avec les félicitations du jury à l'unanimité).

In 2008, awarded the title of Master in Philosophy and Human and Social Sciences at the Université de Picardie Jules Verne in Amiens.

Graduated in 2006 in Social and Work Psychological Sciences at the University of Padua and in 2000 in Literature at Ca' Foscari University in Venice.

In 2005, completed the MEF Master for Experts in processes of training and organizational and relational development (ISMO) in the laboratories "Leadership and innovation" and "Individuals, groups, institutions," and in 2004, the HRD Master for Experts in group work in organizations (AIDP) in the laboratory "Personal development in organizations."

Passions
I'm the creator and the author of the innovative Neuromagia Project: edutainment, scientific dissemination, lecture-shows, and speeches on human behavior, psychology of money and consumption, and management through the languages of art, theater, and illusionism (www.neuromagia.it). Author of the subject "The other side of money" (2018), from which the theatrical show "SOLDOUT. In search of the truth about money" (2019) was derived.

I'm a pianist and leader in various jazz formations, including the renowned Minimax Jazz Ensemble and Frankie Back From Hollywood. I'm the author of the lecture-concert series "Jazz. A black and white story©" and recorded as a co-founder of the Upperground Orchestra, the albums "Solaris Eremit" and "Collide" (Morphine Records, 2008) and "Room 310" (meakusma, 2010).

I'm creator and founder of Comunic@ffè, the literary café of IULM University in Feltre.
I'm a lover of travel and cultural, gastronomic, and convivial encounters.I live in the Venetian lagoon, where I sail and row on traditional boats.

Main Areas of Scientific Interest

The distinctive educational and research path has always been guided by a deep interest in the Human Sciences and the applications of Psychology in educational, pedagogical, and andragogical fields. In particular, the commitment is focused on training, consultancy, coaching, and research activities from a trans-methodological, multidisciplinary, and multicultural perspective on the following themes:
• psychoeconomics, behavioral economics, and symbolic meanings of money
• decision-making processes, perception, and cognitive fallacies
• management
• techniques and practices of communication (written and oral), interpersonal communication, public speaking
• techniques and strategies for improving creativity
• group dynamics, successful transversal skills, interpersonal relationships, leadership and membership management, team building, and team empowerment
• trainer training, classroom management
• organization of high-level training projects and events.
