Graduated in Sociology at University of Trento and specialized in marketing (at SDA-Bocconi) and in multimedia communication (at San Francisco State University).
He began his professional career in the field of socio-cultural research and strategic planning. working for leading companies and groups in the marketing communication, media, and digital technology sectors.
At the end of the 1990s, he moved to Silicon Valley to follow "from within" the overwhelming rise of the new economy. He created his first website in 1998, directly taking care of its look&feel and html.
Back in Milan in 2001, he actively observed and participated in the first “dates” between the Internet and Italian companies. With roles of responsibility in Inferentia (now Fullsix) and Digital Magics, he has led the strategic tasks and the concept design of many projects.
He began his collaboration with IULM in 1999, first as assistant in the course “Sociology of Consumption” and then as a professor of the course "Advertising and new media".
At IULM he currently teaches two courses: "Digital Media and Marketing Communication" and "Sociology of Marketing Algorithms". He has also taught at IE-School of Communication and Carlos III University in Madrid.
As a digital strategist, he has covered almost all digital and digital marketing topics. As a creator, he has published an m-application dedicated to the main masterpieces of the Prado Museum and other content, including many books translated abroad.
More recently he is focused on programmatic marketing, serving as a consultant for the biggest communication group worldwide and other tech companies.
