MAIN AREAS OF SCIENTIFIC INTEREST
The research interests focus on intercultural communication in the field of tourism, especially for the online promotion of cultural sites and activities - including UNESCO heritage sites. In particular, Emanuele is interested in how the culture of a particular group is expressed online (e.g., websites, social media) and how multimedia content can be adapted (through "localization") to the cultural background of the target audience.
