Chair of the Analytics and Global Consumer Insight course at the Faculty of Arts, Fashion and Tourism of the Free University of Languages and Communication, IULM.
He is full professor of statistics at the University of Bari, Italy. He received his PhD in statistics from the University of Bari in 1994. He is CEV coordinator for ASN 2020-2024, for Area 13 of the CUN. He was appointed, by the Minister of Public Function, member of COGIS. He is a member of the Evaluation Unit of the University of Bari. He was elected President of the Italian Statistical Society for 2020-2024. He was director of the CIRPAS Research Centre of the University of Bari (Italy). He has published over 100 articles and several book chapters in prestigious national and international journals, proceedings, and books. He is a member of the editorial board and reviewer of some prestigious journals. He has held several invited talks at national and international conferences.

Structural equation models, multidimensional complex indicators, data visualization, sustainability, and health statistics.
