Transfers from other universitites
Applications for transfer in accordance with current regulations are examined by the Faculty Board and assessed individually on the basis of consistency between previous studies and the study plan of the course of study requested, and in accordance with programmed annual student numbers for each course of study.
The year of admission is determined on the basis of the number of validated CFUs from the previous career:
- admission to the first year: this is not normally envisaged for Courses of Study that envisage a selective test for admission. For study courses that do not provide for a selective test, admission to the first year by transfer is possible;
- admission to the second year: admission to the second year is normally envisaged if the student can be recognised at least 36 CFU, of which at least 18 CFU can be validated on courses linked to the first year, coherent with the new course of study
- admission to the third year: it is normally envisaged if the student can be recognised at least 60 CFU consistent with the new course of study
Admission to a course of study (Bachelor's or Master's degree) delivered in English is only possible if the student is in possession of a suitable B2 level language certificate, or if he/she is a native speaker, or if he/she passes the appropriate Assessment test; the recognition of any educational activities is only possible if the examinations are passed in English.
For a first evaluation of your previous career for the purpose of a possible transfer, find the information on this page.
Incoming transfer requests can be submitted from 1 August to 31 October each year. There is a fee of 100 euros to complete the transfer, to be paid at the same time as the first instalment.
