Welcome Week 2026
From September 14 to 18, IULM University will open its campus for Welcome Week, dedicated to first-year students in bachelor’s degree programs and, starting September 21, to new students in master’s degree programs.
On Monday, September 21, 2026, classes for the2026/27 will begin, and as is tradition, this year too, for you as a freshman at our university, the usual Welcome Week will be held from September 14 to 18, 2026!
This is an entire week dedicated to new students, designed to help you get to know the IULM campus, its services, and the resources available, as well as to make friends with those who will be sharing this new university adventure with you.
During the day set aside for your degree program, you’ll have the opportunity to meet the program coordinator, participate in sessions organized by the Tutoring and Counseling Office, and receive valuable advice to help you start this new adventure on the right foot.
And that’s not all! You’ll also be able to: participate in workshops offered by various IULM student organizations and pick up your welcome kit, which includes the fourth edition of the IULM Planner.

11:00 a.m. — 12:30 p.m.: Session — Me & AI: Learning to Think with Artificial Intelligence - 2:00 p.m. — 4:00 p.m.: Afternoon activities
September 15
- 9:30 a.m. — 10:30 a.m.: Welcome to first-year students in the Bachelor’s Degree Programs in Arts and Cultural Events and Fashion and Creative Industries
- 10:00 a.m. — 11:00 a.m.: Welcome to first-year students in the Tourism, Management, and Culture program.
- 11:00 a.m. — 12:30 p.m.: Session — Why Am I Here?
- 2:00 p.m. — 4:00 p.m.: Afternoon activities
September 16
- 9:30 a.m. — 10:30 a.m.: Welcome to first-year students in the Communication, Media, and Advertising degree program
- 11:00 a.m. — 12:30 p.m.: Meeting — The Beginning of the Journey
- 2:00 p.m. — 4:00 p.m.: Afternoon activities
September 17
- 9:30 a.m. — 10:30 a.m.: Welcome to first-year students in the Bachelor’s Degree Program in Mediation, Interpreting, and Intercultural Communication and Languages, Culture, and Digital Communication
- 11:00 a.m. — 12:30 p.m.: Session — Me & AI: Learning to Think with Artificial Intelligence
- 2:00 p.m. — 4:00 p.m.: Afternoon activities
September 18
- 9:30 a.m. — 10:30 a.m.: Welcome to first-year students in the Bachelor’s Degree Program in Corporate Communication and Public Relations
- 11:00 a.m. — 12:30 p.m.: Session — Faces and Places
- 2:00 PM — 4:00 PM: Afternoon activities
You can register for the day dedicated to your degree program starting August 31, 2026.
For those of you who are about to begin a Master’s Degree program at our university, IULM has also planned a special welcome event: we’ll be organizing orientation sessions just for you, designed to help you navigate the first steps of your new university experience.
During this session, you’ll have the opportunity to meet the program coordinator, learn about the services and resources provided by IULM through a presentation by our offices, and pick up your welcome kit. Check your email for further details or write to [email protected]
