Welcome Week

IULM is ready to welcome its new students! From 14th to 18th September the University opens the doors of the campus for the Welcome Week dedicated to students enrolled in the first years of their Bachelor's degree. Friday 18 September: Corporate Communication. Day also dedicated to international students (and Erasmus).

 

The Welcome Week will be held both in presence and remotely (through the Microsoft Teams platform) and will have the aim of introducing new students to the places and services of the University, generating enthusiasm and a sense of belonging, preparing for a "different" teaching and facilitating interpersonal relationships.

Each day of the week will be dedicated to one or two Bachelor's Courses according to the following programme:

- Monday 14 September: Communication, Media and Advertising
- Tuesday 15 September: Arts, Media, Cultural Events and Tourism, Management and Territory
- Wednesday 16 September: Corporate Communication and Public Relations
- Thursday 17 September: Interpreting and Communication and Fashion and Creative Industries
- Friday 18 September: Corporate Communication. Day also dedicated to international students (and Erasmus).


The event will start at 9.30 am with the institutional welcome by the Dean and/or course coordinator, followed by the intervention of the Student Representatives and a brief introduction to tutoring and counselling services. Following this, there will be team building activities organized in small groups.
The Pocket Lunch, from 12.30 pm, will be offered by the University.
In the afternoon there will be a presentation of the University services and other activities of socialization and confrontation with peer tutors. The activities will end at 5.30 pm.

Students wishing to take part in the Welcome Week must sign up at this link indicating whether they intend to participate remotely on the day dedicated to them.

All activities in attendance will be carried out in compliance with the anti-covid safety regulations.
