Regulations for Access to the "Linguaskill" Test A.Y. 2025/2026

These Regulations govern student access to the Linguaskill Test for A.Y. 2025/2026.

What is Linguaskill

Linguaskill is a globally recognized test that certifies the level of English language proficiency. The test is based on artificial intelligence and adaptive technology and offers a quick and accurate assessment of English language skills from B1 to C2 level of the Common European Framework of Reference (CEFR). Participants receive a certificate and a score report.

Who it is intended for

Eligible to take the test are:

• students regularly enrolled, for the a.y. 2025/2026, current or fuori corso, in the Bachelor of Arts, Fashion and Tourism and the Faculty of Communication degree programs who have passed the Professional English III / Professional English for Tourism III exam;

• students enrolled, for A.Y. 2025/2026, in the first year and second year in or out of course, in the Master's Degree Courses of the Faculty of Arts, Fashion and Tourism and the Faculty of Communication

• students regularly enrolled, for A.Y. 2025/2026, in the last year in or out of course, in the Degree Courses of the Faculty of Interpreting and Translation, if interested

• undergraduates of the third session of the a.y. 2024/2025 (March 2026).

When it takes place and where

The next testing session has been set for March 20, 2026.

The test will be held in Computer Science Room 661 (IULM 6, sixth floor).

Places available per session

Sixteen places are available for the March 2026 session.

Content and structure of the test

How much does it cost

The test has a cost of €180, which must be paid by the student at the time of registration by accessing SCRIGNO Pago Facile at the followinglink(Log in as "Anonymous Access" > indicate "spontaneous payment" > select "IULM University" as the Institution, "linguaskill test" as the reason for payment, amount € 180, reason for payment NAME-NAME-MATRICOLA-Test Linguaskill).

The amount may be, once only, partially refunded in the amount of € 130 with credit on the University Card (badge) to students who achieve in the test an overall score of not less than 179 on the Cambridge English Scale (level equal to "B2 full").

Students who do not achieve the aforementioned result will not be eligible for even a partial refund of the test fee.

The test registration fee cannot be refunded under any circumstances, including absence. Only in case of justified absence for serious and documented reasons, the test may be taken at a later session at no additional cost.

How to register

Students who intend to take the test must register by filling out the form availableat this linkand pay the registration fee by Tuesday, March 10, 2026. When completing the form, the student must declare that he or she meets the requirements for enrollment.
If there are more places available, the allocation will be made in order of date of payment.
If the test cannot be held due to lack of available places, any amount already paid will be refunded in full.

Communication of results

The result is sent via email to the student within a few days of taking the test.
