IULM presents UniON, the first National University Orchestra

IULM University is a partner in the UniON project, the first Italian orchestra composed of university students from different universities and disciplinary backgrounds

IULM University together with Intesa San Paolo, the Ministry of University and Research, CRUI and the Lombardy Region supports UniON - National University Orchestra, a new cultural project that brings together the best musical talents from Italian universities. A unique initiative, created with the aim of creating an orchestra composed of female university students united by their passion for music.

The inaugural concert will be held at Pavia's Teatro Fraschini on June 3 at 8 p.m., in the presence of Minister Anna Maria Bernini.

The project will be officially presented on Monday, May 25 at 12 noon at the Teatro alla Scala.

We will host in the IULM Auditorium the orchestra rehearsals and provide our residences for the student musicians. Our students from the Master's Degree in Television Cinema and New Media will also produce a docufilm directed by Michele Mally.

Free admission for the June 3 concert at Pavia's Teatro Fraschini

For the inaugural concert on June 3 , students of IULM University, will have free admission to the event while seats last.
