Studytrip SUP DE LUXE

International - 13 June 2025

Twenty-two male and female students on study trip to Paris

Twenty-two students of the Master's degree course in Fashion Communication and Luxury Strategies, accompanied by Dr. Elisabetta Modena, participated in the study trip organised by the Institut Supérieur de Marketing du Luxe founded by Cartier (now known as Sup de Luxe).

The programme, which took place during the week of 12 to 17 May, offered the students an important opportunity to internationalise their skills, allowing them to confront themselves with the global dynamics of the luxury sector, supported by academics and qualified professionals.

The lectures explored French luxury through savoir-faire and its history, customer experience and brand strategies, the art of combining heritage and creative expression, the challenges of new luxury languages, and finally the increasingly central role of innovation and sustainability in the future of the sector.

Among the most significant activities on offer were a visit to La Caserne, a European hub dedicated to sustainable fashion; a private tour of the Maison Courbet, a pioneer of ethical jewelry based in Place Vendôme; a guided tour at La Samaritaine, an iconic Parisian department store; a visit to the David Hockney 25 exhibition at the Fondation Louis Vuitton; an exclusive visit to the Maison Baccarat, a symbol of timeless craftsmanship; and a concluding lecture held at the Cartier offices, where a ceremony was also held to present the certificates of participation.

This experience represented a valuable training moment on the key issues of the global luxury market, offering participants the opportunity to directly confront with different professional realities and operational roles within the industry.
