IULM Students at the Italian Global Series Festival for a Summer Experience in International TV Series
IULM students are participating in the 2026 Italian Global Series Festival with an immersive experience that combines jury duties, networking, and storytelling in the world of television series.
From July 3 to 11, a group of students from IULM University will take partin the Italian Global Series Festival, an international event dedicated to television series that will take place in Rimini and Riccione.
For the participating IULM students, this will be a unique opportunity to experience the festival from the inside, interact with professionals from the international audiovisual industry, and gain an in-depth understanding of the languages and processes of contemporary television series. As members of the jury—composed of university students from various Italian universities—they will be tasked with viewing the entries in competition and awarding a prize to the series deemed most deserving.
The experience will also include participation in press conferences, meetings with writers, directors, and actors, in-depth discussions, and digital storytelling activities through the creation of content for the festival’s social media channels.
This is a concrete opportunity to put the skills gained during their university studies into practice, engage with the audiovisual sector in an international context, and gain valuable professional and personal growth.
