IULM female students serve on the juries at the Venice Film Festival
Three female students in the Master’s Degree in Television, Cinema, and New Media will represent the University on the jury for the UNIMED Award and on the Venezia Classici jury
Three students from the Master’s Degree in Television, Cinema, and New Media at IULM University will serve as jurors at the 83rd Venice International Film Festival.
Iris Catoggio and Claudia Varca were selected by UNIMED to join the international jury for the UNIMED Awards, the prize sponsored by the Mediterranean Universities Union as part of the Film Festival. The jury is composed of students from universities belonging to the UNIMED network and awards the prize to the film in competition that best embodies the values of cultural diversity, dialogue, inclusion, and freedom of artistic expression. This experience will offer them the opportunity to participate in the jury’s deliberations during the Festival, interacting with students from universities in various countries and contributing to the selection of the UNIMED Award winner.
Joining them is Livia Inzaina, who will serve on the Venezai Classici Jury. This jury, composed entirely of film students from Italian universities, awards the prize to the best film among the classics of cinema history selected for this edition of the Festival.
