“Let’s Talk with Sorrisi in Rosa”: 10 Years Together at IULM with Gerry Scotti

On October 6, the IULM Auditorium will host an event celebrating the tenth anniversary of Humanitas’s breast cancer prevention project. Gerry Scotti will be the guest of honor; a short film created by IULM students will also be screened during the event.

On Tuesday, October 6, from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., IULM University will host “Let’s Talk with Sorrisi in Rosa: 10 Years Together, an event open to the public organized by Humanitas, in collaboration with the Humanitas Foundation for Research and IULM University.

Created to raise awareness about the importance of prevention and early diagnosis of breast cancer, Sorrisi in Rosa brings together the stories of over 170 women who have gone through cancer treatment, transforming their experiences into a message of hope and awareness.

Among the new features of the 2026 edition is the screening of “I Didn’t Think It Would Happen to Me, a short film created by IULM students that uses audiovisual media to promote prevention and raise awareness.

The event will be attended by the women of Sorrisi in Rosa, professionals from the Breast Unit and Cancer Center at Humanitas, and the IULM student community. The guest of honor will be Gerry Scotti, the initiative’s patron. The “Dame in rosa” project, created in collaboration with the Poldi Pezzoli Museum, will also be presented.
