IULM enters the Global Top 100 for Hospitality & Leisure Management in the QS World University Rankings by Subject 2026

Università IULM continues its rise in the QS World University Rankings by Subject for the discipline of Hospitality & Leisure Management, reaching the 51–100 band worldwide in the 2026 edition, out of 1,522 universities evaluated.

The university has climbed 50 positions compared to the 2025 edition, confirming the steady upward trend that characterizes its performance in this popular discipline. Since entering the rankings in 2023, IULM has recorded exponential growth, progressively strengthening its presence within the international academic landscape.

The ranking, compiled by the international agency QS Quacquarelli Symonds, evaluates universities around the world according to rigorous criteria, including in particular academic reputation and employer reputation, based on assessments provided by academics and employers worldwide.

This result represents an important recognition from the international academic and professional community and highlights IULM’s growing standing in the fields of hospitality, tourism and leisure. The hospitality, tourism, and leisure sectors are increasingly dominant, high-growth pillars of the global economy, currently contributing approximately 10% of global GDP and employment.

The achievement reflects the University’s ongoing commitment to promoting academic excellence and applied professional skills, characterized by innovative teaching programs, strong connections with industry and an extensive network of collaborations with leading organizations in the sector.
