Panel on Sustainability: a report

A Panel dedicated to Sustainability was the event that closed the Financial Communication & Investor Relations course (of the Master's Degree in Strategic Communication degree program) last December 1.

The Panel, which was held in English, highlighted the central role played by sustainability communication and the growing attention to these issues by investors, financial markets and Investor Relators. The lecturers discussed the relevance and criticality of the strategic and reporting processes that lie behind the preparation of the sustainability report, the role - still very uncertain - of ESG ratings, and the effect of reputational crises in sustainability on companies' ability to raise capital. It emerged that there is a growing need for specific training and professionalism on this topic, effectively integrating managerial, communication and sustainability skills geared toward "know how."
