IULM at the Urban Regeneration Forum: Inclusion and Training in the Project with PizzAut

12 October 2026

On October 13 at the ADI Design Museum, IULM will present its collaboration with PizzAut: a restaurant on campus and a master’s program in Disability Management and Inclusive Communication, scheduled to launch in 2027.

On Tuesday, October 13, at 3:30 p.m., IULM Rector Professor Valentina Garavaglia will speak at the 2026 Urban Regeneration Forum, scheduled to take place at the ADI Design Museum in Milan (Piazza Compasso d’Oro, 1) as part of the panel discussion “Inclusive Projects: PizzAut Comes to Campus.”

Also participating in the event will be IULM Professor Daniela Corsaro, Delegate for Inclusion, Disability, and Psychological Counseling, and Nico Acampora, founder and president of the PizzAut Foundation. Anna Scavuzzo, Deputy Mayor of Milan with responsibility for Urban Regeneration and promoter and organizer of the Forum, will deliver the closing remarks .

The focus of the meeting will be the collaboration between IULM and PizzAut, which will bring Milan’s first PizzAut restaurant to the university campus, with an opening to the public scheduled for spring 2027: a space open to the city, designed to promote the inclusion of people with autism in the workforce and foster connections between the academic community and the local area.

The partnership also extends to education: the launch of the Specialized Master’s Program in Disability Management and Inclusive Communication is scheduled for October 2027, with details to be announced tomorrow.

This event will provide an opportunity to explore a project that places inclusion at its core, recognizing it as a concrete driver of social and urban transformation.
