Our University takes center stage in the international management debate with the IULM Milan Hub at EGOS 2026
From July 8 to 11, we will host one of the local venues for the 42nd EGOS Colloquium, welcoming scholars and mentors from prestigious global institutions for four days of scientific discussion and high-level workshops
IULM University is strengthening its visibility and its role as an active academic hub on the international scientific scene. From July 8 to 11, 2026, the University will officially become the IULM Milan Hub, one of the physical venues selected to host the 42nd EGOS Colloquium - the prestigious annual conference of the European Group for Organizational Studies, the most important European network in the field of organizational and management studies.
This year’s edition, centered on the theme “Reframing Organizations in the More-than-Human Society” and led by the University of Bergamo, will take place primarily online. Precisely to preserve the value of in-person interaction, EGOS has promoted the creation of regional hubs: IULM’s application, submitted in November 2025 and accepted in January 2026, will allow faculty, doctoral students, and researchers to experience the various days of the Colloquium in a shared discussion space.
The event will be divided into two distinct parts:
- Wednesday, July 8 – The Workshop for Young Scholars: The opening day will be entirely dedicated to the Social Evaluations Writing Workshop, a training session of the highest scientific caliber. During this first day, 20 young scholars (junior scholars) from renowned universities around the world (including Oxford, CBS Denmark, HEC Paris, Bocconi, USI Switzerland, and Concordia Canada) will have the opportunity to present their papers and receive personalized guidance and feedback from a panel of internationally renowned mentors.
- July 9–11 – The Conference: Following the workshop day, the next three days will see the global conference get into full swing. During this phase, the IULM Milan Hub will serve as the central hub and streaming venue for professors wishing to follow and discuss the academic sessions together, providing a space for both formal and informal discussion for approximately 45 academics and professionals from various countries.
By actively participating in a community that now numbers approximately 2,500 members from 54 countries, the University reaffirms its international openness and its commitment to fostering cultural exchange and cutting-edge research.
