IULM at the Bobbio Film Festival with Marco Bellocchio
Six students will take part in the video documentation of the event and the “Bottega XNL” seminar.
From July 31 to August 6, 2026, six students from the Master’s Degree Program in Television, Cinema, and New Media at IULM University — Penelope Baruffaldi, Lara Bruschi, Emiliano Cannilla, Giulia Impiombato, Federica Leo, and Vittoria Marotta — will participate in the latest edition of the Bobbio Film Festival, the historic event founded and directed by filmmaker Marco Bellocchio, who was awarded an honorary degree in the same master’s program by IULM in 2019.
The students will be working on-site to film the post-screening discussions and to document the activities of the prestigious advanced training seminar Bottega XNL - Fare Cinema. Directed by Bellocchio himself, the training program guides participants through the creation of a short film directed by the renowned filmmaker.
