'Food cheating': the new workshop by IULM Food Academy

From false myths about food to food frauds, from fake news to the contribution of neuroscience in the field of food shopping: these are just some of the topics covered by the workshop "L'imbroglio alimentare: falsi miti, truffe, fake news" conceived and organised by Prof. Nicola Sorrentino, Scientific Director of the IULM Food Academy.

The six meetings, each lasting two hours, will take place between 20 February and 26 March 2024 and will feature important guests such as the Director of the Repubblica's multimedia platform 'Salute' Daniela Minerva; Francesco Aversano, lawyer and Associate Professor of Agricultural Law at the University of Naples Federico II; Luigi Piscitelli, former Director of the Food Inspection and Hygiene Unit of the Milan ATS; Prof. Luigi Bonizzi, Department of Biomedical, Surgical and Dental Sciences at the University of Milan; Dr. Giovanni Seveso, doctor specialising in Food Science and Dietetics at the University of Milan; and the Scientific Director of the Neuromarketing Research Centre 'Behavior and Brain Lab' at IULM University, Prof. Vincenzo Russo.

The workshop is free of charge and is aimed at an audience aged 18 and over. To participate, you must register on this form while places last.
