Fabio Marchese Ragona and the Pope's autobiography

Ragona is one of the best-known figures in religious information, author of numerous books and television reports, and Vaticanist for the Mediaset group, with which the IULM Master in Journalism has had a fruitful collaboration for more than 20 years. With Life. My Story through History, published in 2024 by Harper Collins, Ragona signs the first official autobiography of Pope Francis, the result of months of dialogue and personal interviews with the Pontiff. The book had a global circulation: in fact, it was published simultaneously in 21 countries and represents a unique document on Jorge Mario Bergoglio's life, choices and human and spiritual journey.
We like to recall that Ragona was the first journalist to interview a Pontiff for a national generalist Italian television station, an event that marked a turning point in the Vatican's communication with the media.

IULM warmly congratulates Fabio Marchese Ragona on this important recognition. His success is a source of pride for the entire academic community, confirming the educational value of our Master's in Journalism and the ability of our alumni to distinguish themselves in the highest professional contexts.
