El Blanco - IULM presents trailer for new documentary at World Food Forum 2025
During the week of the World Food Forum 2025, held October 13-17 at the headquarters of the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO) in Rome, the teaser trailer of El Blanco, the new documentary to be produced by IULM University and directed by Giuseppe Carrieri, was screened.
The project was created with the aim of promoting an institutional communication capable of combining tradition, sustainability and innovation, in line with the mission of the FAO and Chilean institutions committed to the recovery of local practices and the protection of natural resources.
The screening of the trailer took place as part of the FAO's 80th anniversary celebrations, the centerpiece of which was the World Food Day 2025 plenary, held October 16 in FAO's Plenary Hall. The event, titled "Hand in Hand for Better Foods and a Better Future," included the inaugural ceremony of the new FAO MuNe Museum in the presence of Pope Leo XIV and Italian President Sergio Mattarella.
With El Blanco, IULM confirms its vocation to combine education, research and cultural production in projects with a strong social and environmental impact.
