Summer school at Uzbekistan State World Languages University in Tashkent

From May 30th to June 7th, 2026, a group of IULM University students, led by Professors Giovanna Rocca and Massimo De Giuseppe, took part in a weeklong summer school, organized in collaboration with the Uzbekistan State World Languages University, while exploring Tashkent, Samarkand, and Bukhara.

An experience that combined academic training, intercultural exchange, and the discovery of some of the most fascinating locations along the ancient Silk Road. From classroom learning and meetings with local faculty and institutions to visits to the country's main historical and cultural sites, the trip served as an important opportunity for both personal and professional growth for all participants.

An initiative that reinforces the value of internationalization as a core element of the university experience and the education of a new generation of communication and international relations professionals.
