IULM University Theater Center on stage at the Greek Theater in Palazzolo Acreide
On the occasion of the International Youth Classical Theater Festival, the IULM University Theater Center company will make its debut at the Greek Theater in Palazzolo Acreide (Syracuse) on Sunday, June 1
The company of the IULM University Theatre Center will go on stage - with the play "Orestes" by Euripides - on Sunday, June 1, at 11 a.m. during the International Youth Classical Theater Festival in Palazzolo Acreide, the most important theater review dedicated to future generations in the national and international scene, which this year began May 11 and will end June 3
The review was born from an intuition of Giusto Monaco, who in 1991 decided to give life to an event capable of keeping "alive the relationship with the new generations through the protection of the founding values of classical culture." Thus, between May 26 and 31, 1991, students from 26 schools performed in the Greek Theater of Akrai, giving life to an event that has now become a regular and increasingly important event in the activities of the Inda Foundation, with a high educational and social value. The Festival until 2000 was held every two years and then became an annual event.
On stage students:
Sofia Ardemagni, Maria Norma Chiara Bravi, Francesco Brondi, Chiara Camillucci, Siria Carollo, Filippo Ferrari, Sara Frontuto, Nicolò Gardel, Mariano Malaspina, Carlotta Mandelli, Pietro Antonio Preite, Alessio Trivigno, Lorenzo Tummino, Giorgia Turla, Alessandro Zanetti
Coordination and staging: Lara Franceschetti, with the collaboration of Carlotta Cilento
