New Maeci call for applications kicks off
Call for applications opens for 336 curricular internships
As of September 12, it is possible to apply for 336 curricular internships at the Diplomatic Representations, Consular Offices and Italian Cultural Institutes of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation. Students from all Italian universities participating in the Convention who are enrolled in master's degree or single-cycle degree programs can apply.
The program is the result of a collaboration between the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation (MAECI), the Ministry of University and Research (MUR) and Italian universities, through the organizational support of the CRUI Foundation. The internships take place at Embassies, Permanent Representations to OO.II., Consulates, Delegations and Italian Cultural Institutes (IICs).
Recipients: students enrolled in master's degree programs
Application submission: September 12 - October 7, 2024
Running period: January 13 - April 11, 2025
The call for applications can be viewed at this link .
In addition to the requirements stated in the announcement (degree class, cfu, arithmetic average of exams, age and English language), the following should be kept in mind:
- Student status must be possessed at the time of application and maintained throughout the duration of the internship, for the same course of study indicated in the application, under penalty of exclusion from the program.
- the B2 level of English must be attested by a certification, valid even if expired, issued by an institution recognized by the MUR(https://www.miur.gov.en/enti-certificatori-lingue-straniere) or by a university exam/certificate that among its educational objectives provides for the achievement of the B2 level or higher;
- the Information regarding the requirements (master's degree course attended, credits, average, language certification and level of English, age) must be placed only in the prepared fields of the application: otherwise our software will not consider them for evaluation, invalidating the application (e.g., language proficiency must be placed in the "Knowledge of Languages" section and not within any open field of the application);
- applicants of degree classes admitted only for IICs, if they enter an IIC and another diplomatic location as required locations, they may be admitted as eligible for selection, but they will be evaluated on the IIC only;
- identity document and self-certification must also be checked during pre-selection. Failure on the part of the candidate to upload these documents to the platform does not constitute grounds for exclusion for CRUI, as it is allowed, if the university agrees, to send these documents in arrears to the university's reference email;
- the candidate cannot graduate before the end of the internship;
- the faculty and nationality field should not be considered for pre-selection purposes (they will soon be removed from the database).
Applications for this call for applications can be submitted only electronically by logging on to the online application at http://www.crui.it/tirocini/tirociniwa by October 7, 2024, 5:00 pm.
