Bagatti Valsecchi Foundation (Non-Profit Organization)

Established in 1975, the Bagatti Valsecchi Onlus Foundation is a private-law entity and was designated by the heirs of Fausto and Giuseppe as the vehicle through which to ensure the unified preservation of the complex comprising the art collections and the historic apartments on the main floor of the palace bearing the same name. In 1998, it was recognized as an Onlus (non-profit organization of social utility). Today, the Bagatti Valsecchi Onlus Foundation’s mission is to manage the Bagatti Valsecchi Museum, which preserves and exhibits to the public—in its original setting, from which it is inseparable—the art collection of brothers Fausto and Giuseppe Bagatti Valsecchi, a collection that can never be disbanded. The Foundation operates in the spirit of protecting, promoting, and enhancing items of historical and artistic interest, as provided for by Law No. 1089 of June 1, 1939.
