Office-hours takes place on wednesdays at 6 p.m in person, always by appointment to be arranged by e-mail.
CURRENT POSITION
Since 2008 Martina Treu is Senior Researcher and Assistant Professor at IULM University (Milan), since 2012, she passed twice the National Examination as Associate Professor. She teaches History of Ancient Art, Arts and Drama in the Classical World. As a Dramaturg, she has also written, translated and adapted classical texts for the stage.
RESEARCH AREAS
Ancient Tragedy and Comedy (particularly Aristophanes), Ancient Arts and Modern Reception of Greek Drama. She is founder and member of CRIMTA at Pavia (http://crimta.unipv.it/), an international research centre and archive of classical drama. Since 2016 she is coordinator and speaker of the international research group Imagines Project (imagines-project.org). She is also a member of the Scientific Committees of the book series “Mito. Voci dal presente”, Anabases and Rezeption der Antike.
