Giorgio Tavano Blessi is a researcher at IULM University in Milan. His research focuses on sociology and culture. He has collaborated as a consultant with public and private organizations in the field of territorial development policies, cultural management and welfare. Since 2003 he has regularly held courses on the above topics at various universities. He acts as a reviewer for scientific journals at national and international level.

The focus is particularly directed to understand the relationship between culture and individual well-being, urban transformation projects, social capital human capital and local development models.
