Cristiano Giulio Sangiuliano
Born in Naples, Sangiuliano grew up in Milan and lives in Paris.
He studied at the Statale University in Pavia, where in 1994 he graduated cum laude in Modern Literature (Lettere Moderne). He continued his studies at the post-graduate Specialization School in Art History of the Statale University in Milano, where he obtained in 2000 a Diploma di Specializzazione with full marks.
After a short experience in a photographic archive, he became Collection Conservator at Fondazione Prada in 1997. He joined the auction house Christie’s in 2003 as Specialist of Post-War and Contemporary Art in Milan. He was then promoted to Head of Sale (2006), Co-Head of Department (2010) and International Specialist in Paris (2013). In 2014 he became Collection Curator of Fondazione Prada, where he still works.
From 1995 to the present day, he has lectured and taught Contemporary Arts History and Contemporary Arts Market at the Statale University in Pavia, Catholic University in Brescia and IESA in Paris among others.
