CURRENT POSITION
He is contract holder for the official course "Design Laboratory II - Archives and Digital Resources."
He is an associate professor of Design at the Polytechnic University of Milan, Department of Architecture, Construction Engineering and the Built Environment. An architect, he received his PhD in 2008 in Conservation of Architectural Heritage and, in 2010, his diploma from the School of Specialization in Architectural and Landscape Heritage of the Milan Polytechnic.
Since 2017, he has held teaching positions at the University of Applied Sciences and Arts of Southern Switzerland (SUPSI), bachelor's degree in Conservation and Restoration, course in Documentation and Design of Cultural Heritage. He has been a lecturer at the ABC PhD of the Milan Polytechnic since 2009 and at the School of Specialization in Architectural and Landscape Heritage since 2020. He also carries out teaching activities at some international university Master's programs. From 2011 to 2018 he is part of the Erasmus Architectural Heritage Documentation for Conservation (ARCHDOC) Workshop at the Raymond Lemaire International Center For Conservation, RLICC - Unesco Chair, Katholike Universiteit (KU) Leuven.
Since 2003, he has participated in national and international architectural and archaeological survey campaigns, collaborating with several foreign universities. He is a member of ICOMOS and CIPA Heritage Documentation.
Her 'research activity is mainly in the field of surveying, documentation and cataloguing of cultural heritage. She is an expert in archival research (particularly on historical cartography) and in the use of innovative digital technologies applied to cultural heritage research; these include the modeling of historic buildings for conservation and restoration activities.
