CURRENT POSITION 

He is Associate Professor of Comparative Literature.

He directs the “International Center for Research on Collaborative Translation”, and he is a member of the Doctoral Board in Visual and Media Studies. 

He coordinated the international research projects “Translator-writers and European literary culture” and “ Collaborative translation: approaches and perspectives”. He is currently the co-I of the project "AI and new technologies for translation and interpreting: between didactics and virtual environments".

He has published several translations from English and theoretical writings on comparative literature and translation studies.

In 2022 he received the grant from the Irish national agency “Literature Ireland” for the collaborative translation project: Michael D. Higgins, Riprendiamoci le strade d’Europa, Castelvecchi, Roma.

He is responsible for the organizational and scientific support of the ICS/SCI Centre (Iulm Comparative Studies) , and he directs the IULM “Permanent laboratory for collaborative revision of texts on / in translation”.

He is the co-director of the translation series “Echo” (Aracne, Rome). He is a member of the Editorial Board of “Testo a Fronte”, of the Steering Board of “Comparatismi”, of the scientific Board of the “Proteo-Risset” series and of the Board of “Glocalism” and “City University Research Journal of Literature and Linguistics”.
