CURRENT POSITION
Contract holder for official course in Global Communication Management for Fashion
I am a costume and fashion historian with a BA in Art History (East Anglia University, UK) and Postgraduate Higher Education course, MA in History of Dress (Courtauld Institute of Art, London, UK). I further specialized in antique dress restoration at the Palazzo Spinelli School, Florence. An interest in contemporary fashion led me to Milan for an initial ten-year career as a freelance stylist with various fashion publications and companies. Since 2005 I have dedicated myself to teaching fashion history. I currently teach courses at Istituto Marangoni Milan, University of Bergamo and the Victoria and Albert Museum Academy in London. In 2011-12 I attended the university teaching qualification course: Post Graduate Certificate in Academic Practice (Manchester Metropolitan University) graduating with Honors. Since 2012 I have been a Fellow of the Higher Education Society, UK
Exhibition curatorial activity since 2019, co-curating Di "Boldini e la Moda" Palazzo dei Diamanti, Ferrara. I have curated exhibitions or sections of exhibitions at MAGA, Gallarate, Museo Lechi, Montichiari (BS), Palazzo Martinengo, Brescia
