Francesco Rocchetti is the Founding Director of the Europe’s Futures Initiative (EFI), a pan-European organization based in Vienna that brings together experts, policymakers, and professionals from over 20 countries to contribute to the debate on the future of Europe and its role in the world.
Previously, he served as Secretary General of the Institute for International Political Studies (ISPI) and Director of the Rome MED Dialogues. He has gained professional experience at the European Parliament, the OECD, and the United Nations in Geneva. He studied at the University of Milan and Sciences Po in Paris.
In addition to his analytical and research work, he is regularly invited by companies to provide insights into geopolitical scenarios and their implications for business strategies.

His research focuses on Europe’s role in a changing international order, the Mediterranean and the Middle East, and the relationships between economic power, technology, and geopolitics.
