  • CARITAS - Holy Land: a series of initiatives promoted by Caritas Italiana with three main objectives
    • to provide immediate humanitarian aid to the most vulnerable, in Gaza and the West Bank;
    • to launch a process of socioeconomic rehabilitation for those who have lost their jobs in the West Bank;
    • to continue the fragile but vital path of dialogue between Israelis and Palestinians, in pursuit of lasting peace.
  • Red Cross - Palestine Emergency: a mission dedicated to caring for populations affected by the Israeli–Palestinian conflict.
  • La Crèche of Bethlehem: an orphanage in the Palestinian territories providing shelter and care for abandoned children aged 0 to 6.
  • Scholarships for holders of international protection : IULM University adheres to the Manifesto of the Inclusive University, an initiative promoted by the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR), with the aim of fostering refugees' access to higher education and research, while promoting social integration and active participation in academic life. The University welcomes refugee students of Palestinian, Ukrainian, Afghan, Belarusian, Russian, and Syrian nationality (43 in the last two years alone) into its degree programs and residences. These students are fully exempt from tuition fees and receive free board and lodging within the campus facilities.
  • IULM - InZone Project: IULM has been part of a training program for students living in refugee camps in Azraq (Jordan) and Kakuma (Kenya), in collaboration with the University of Geneva and the InZone program.
  • RUNIPACE Network of Italian Universities for Peace: IULM is a member of RUNIPACE, in line with the UNESCO Recommendation on Education for Peace. Promoted by the CRUI Foundation, this network brings together universities committed to supporting a culture of peace, nonviolence, and dialogue through research and teaching, including participation in the National PhD Program in Peace Studies.

This commitment has also been recognized internationally, as reflected in IULM’s results in the Times Higher Education Impact Rankings 2024, particularly in the categories "Peace, Justice and Strong Institutions," "Gender Equality," and "Reduced Inequalities."
