In 2019, IULM University of Milan hosted the art installation Cash Money Money, conceived byart director Sergio Pappalettera. The work, which was presented by Rector Gianni Canova, was exhibited at the university's headquarters in Via Carlo Bo, 1, and remained open to the public until December 13, 2019.
The installation aimed to represent money in an artistic form, offering visitors asensory experience beyond its everyday use. Through an immersive journey, viewers were invited to reflect on the meaning of money in contemporary society, exploring its different facets and cultural implications.
The choice of theme was part of the "Word of the Year" initiative promoted by IULM, which for 2019 had identified "money" as the key word on which to focus a series of events and reflections. Pappalettera's installation, enthusiastically received by critics and the public, represented an artistic contribution to this discussion, offering an innovative and stimulating perspective on the concept of wealth and value.
