IULM partners with UnArchive Found Footage Fest
The festival in Rome from May 28 to June 2
IULMUniversity is a partnerin the second edition of UnArchive Found Footage Fest, the first festival entirely dedicated to the creative reuse of images, conceived and produced by theAudiovisual Archive of the Workers' and Democratic Movement in collaboration with Archivio Luce - Cinecittà, under the patronage of MiC - Direzione Generale Cinema e Audiovisivo that will take place from May 28 to June 2, 2024 in Rome.
UnArchive - whose program includes 115 works including feature films, short films, installations and performances - is a diffuse event in the Trastevere neighborhood, and sees among its venues the three halls of the Intrastevere Cinema, the Live Alcazar venue - dedicated to live performances -, the Academy of Spain in Rome, the Tempietto del Bramante and Vicolo Moroni, places designated for art installations.
IULM University is collaborating in particular in organizing a masterclass with a special guest, Ukrainian filmmaker Sergei Loznitsa, who will dialogue with film critic Alberto Crespi on Wednesday, May 29, at 10 a.m., at the Cinema Intrastevere. The masterclass will be preceded on May 28 at 7 p.m. by a screening of Loznitsa's film The Kiev Trial, the festival's opening event.
Students from our Athenaeum can apply for accreditation - by sending an email by May 26 to [email protected] - which includes free participation in all screenings and masterclasses.
