IULM in THE Impact Rankings 2021

International - 08 July 2021

IULM University has been included in THE Impact Rankings 2021 global "Overall Ranking", which assesses the activities undertaken by universities to meet the Sustainable Development Goals adopted by the United Nations General Assembly in the 2030 Agenda.

This ranking - now in its third year - is compiled by the international agency Times Higher Education and features universities from all over the world. THE Impact Rankings assess the activities undertaken by universities to meet the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) adopted by the United Nations General Assembly in the 2030 Agenda.

In particular, IULM University scored 48.8, above the average of all participants (47.6), improving its evaluation compared to last year's edition and ranking among the top 300 universities for the 2030 Agenda's goal number 10 'Reduced Inequalities', which promotes activities and policies aimed at reducing inequalities.

Goal 5 'Gender Equality', which monitors the commitment and support of universities to reduce gender inequality, was also rated positive and above average. With a score of 46.7 (average 43.6), IULM is also ranked in the top 300.

These are two important results of which the University is proud and which testify to the University's concrete and growing commitment, in some areas dating back ten years, to supporting, promoting and disseminating the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDG). This is an incentive to continue with determination along the path undertaken and aspire to improve the assessment in the next edition of THE Impact Rankings, in the awareness of the social responsibility and role that the university itself plays not only within its own community but also in the community at large.
