IULM and Ewha Womans University: a bridge between Milan and Seoul
A collaboration between IULM University and Ewha Womans University, a prestigious South Korean university whose campus is home to some 25,000 female students and is similar to IULM's philosophy, is born. Both universities conceive the academic environment not only as a place of learning, but also as a space for living and personal growth. An affinity that makes this collaboration a valuable opportunity for building new international synergies
During the Study Tour in South Korea of the Master's Degree in Beauty and Wellness Communication and Management, the students of the course, led by the Scientific Director, Professor Mauro Ferraresi, had the opportunity to meet with important protagonists of the local cultural and academic scene. These included Michela Linda Magrí, Director of the Italian Cultural Institute in Seoul, and Professor Emerita Hae Jin Hwang.
The meeting marked the beginning of a collaboration between IULM University and Ewha Womans University, a prestigious South Korean university. The two institutions pledged to develop an ongoing dialogue, promoting joint initiatives in both Milan and Seoul. Among the projects under discussion are events and academic exchanges that could also intertwine with the cultural program of the Milan Cortina 2026 Winter Olympics.
The architectural and functional vision of Ewha University, whose campus is home to some 25,000 female students and combines spaces for study, sports and culture, is similar to IULM's philosophy. Both universities conceive the academic environment not only as a place of learning, but also as a space for living and personal growth. An affinity that makes this collaboration a valuable opportunity for building new international synergies.
