The strategic vision that has characterized all the work and life of Luigi Vedovato has always had in the specialized training of activities that are part of cultural tourism and quality, a starting point and even arrival: in many ways, he seems to have anticipated, with intelligent foresight, the political trend, which emerged clearly in the nineties, which has raised to the rank of specific university education in tourism, with the degree courses in Tourism Sciences, which have joined those of Tourism Economics.

What has been a personal and social commitment since the 1960s and 1970s has now become a reality in the world of universities and tourism businesses. Luigi Vedovato is no longer a forerunner or a pioneer, but a witness and a Master, who has helped thousands of young people to get to know each other and the world, to give our time a more responsible and liveable dimension.

For these reasons, the Council of the Faculty of Communication and Entertainment Sciences of the IULM University of Milan and Feltre, with the unanimous approval of the votes, is honoured to confer on Dr. Luigi Vedovato the Honorary Degree in Management and Communication of Enterprises and Tourist Products.
