CURRENT POSITION
Contract holder for the official course in Russian Culture, Literature and History of the Russian Language - Russian Literature.
Francesca Legittimo graduated in Russian Language and Literature from Ca' Foscari University in Venice. She then continued her studies at the Moscow State University for Humanities, where she worked mainly on comparative literatures. She has translated both classical authors such as Karamzin, Gogol' and Tolstoy and contemporary authors such as Dmitry Gluchovsky. She is one of the authors of the series of Russian manuals for Italians "Davajte" (Hoepli publisher). Her essay on Russian culture "The Russian Sphinx" (Hoepli publisher) was published in 2020
