Summer Session

Summer Sessions are summer courses organised by some European and non-European universities. They are intensive, fee-paying courses lasting a few weeks.  This is not an exchange programme and the universities are not necessarily IULM partners.

The Study Abroad Office, subject to the approval of the Academic Coordinators for Mobility, provides students with a list of universities offering courses consistent with IULM degree courses, specifying the conditions in order to transfer credits.
Once students have identified the courses they deem appropriate to their degree course and received approval from the Student Mobility Office, they will have to enrol independently at the foreign universities, according to the procedures established by the universities themselves.
No grants will be awarded to students attending the Summer Session.

Please, note that:

1) The exam passed within the Summer Session programme allows the recognition of only of one course option (not core courses).
2)  In order to tranfer credits and grade for the exam taken abroad, it is necessary to obtain the approval from the Study Abroad Committee and pass the final assessment at the host university.  Attendance certificates are not valid for credit transfer. Students are required to submit the application for the Summer Session to IULM University no more than 15 days prior to the deadline fixed by the host university.
