As part of the Retail People Track project, funded by a collaboration between IULM University, University of Parma and Largo Consumo, the Workforce Tracker examines best practises in the management of shop staff and identifies structural and behavioural factors (shop management processes) that have a positive or negative impact on employee well-being.


The Observatory of Retail Brand Communication is the research center of IULM University dedicated to the observation of the evolution of retail, which today is inextricably linked to the communication and value creation processes related to brand development. The Observatory works closely with trade associations, research centers, universities and retail companies. One of its main objectives is to monitor the evolution of the role and contribution of human capital in the continuous transformation of the retail industry.
