Where to stay

IULM University is located in Via Carlo Bo, 1, 20143, Milano, Italy, in the Southern area of the city, near the MM2 Romolo metro station and at a slightly greater distance from the MM2 Famagosta station (both on the Green Line) (see: How to reach).

Milan offers a wide range of accommodation options. All hotels located near the Romolo or Famagosta stations of the Metro Green Line - MM2 are convenient, otherwise hotels located along the Green Line – MM2 (e.g. Sant’Ambrogio, Cadorna F.S., Porta Garibaldi stations, etc.) or along bus line 90/91 offer easy and direct access to IULM University (MM2 Romolo) in a short time.

Commonly used search engines (some of them local, e.g.https://www.hotelsofmilan.com/en/all-accommodations/) offer many accommodation options across a wide range of prices (e.g. if you are looking for hotels near the conference venue, Porta Genova or Famagosta are convenient options – one stop away by underground).

IULM University also has a long-time agreement with B&B Hotel Milano La Spezia, located at walking distance from the campus and from the Romolo metro station. For the Conference and GA we have made arrangements with them so that our participants will have precedence in booking rooms until April 10 and enjoy a discounted rate (€135 per night, breakfast included). The hotel provides on‑site parking, which must be reserved at the time of booking.

In addition, IULM University can provide on-campus accommodation for a limited number of guests, at the price of 50 euros per person per night. Breakfast is not available, but each single/double room is equipped with a kettle, coffee/tea, soft drinks and biscuits. We have pre-booked the rooms and will allocate them according to availability. Please send your request to [email protected]. You will then receive a form in which you will be asked to indicate your dates of stay and personal details. This information is required to secure priority and receive confirmation.

Please note that all hotels in Milan apply a city tax (which has recently been doubled for the Winter Olympics to maximum €10 per day).
