How to reach IULM

 Conference Venue

IULM University is located in Milan, in a highly accessible area. It is well served by public transport thanks to its proximity to the Romolo interchange station, which connects the underground, the suburban railway link, and several urban and suburban bus lines. Access by private transport is also convenient due to nearby major road junctions and the availability of parking spaces both on campus and in the surrounding area.

How to reach  the IULM Campus by public transport from across the city

Metro

The Campus is within walking distance of Romolo MM2 (Green Line) and slightly farther from Famagosta MM2 (on the same Line).

The Green Line provides direct connections to the city centre and to the Southern (direction: Assago) and Northeastern (direction: Gessate–Cologno Nord) areas. It also offers interchanges with all other metro lines (M1 Red, M3 Yellow, M4 Blue, and M5 Light Purple), ensuring full coverage of the metropolitan area.

 Surface Transport

  • Trolleybus 90: a circular line running along Milan’s outer ring road, operating mainly on a reserved lane.
  • Bus 47: Romolo M2 – Bisceglie M1, connecting the Navigli district with the M1 Red Line terminus.
  • Bus 74: Porta Lodovica – Famagosta, connecting the campus with the Navigli district (same route as tram 2).
  • Line 175: connects the city of Pavia to Famagosta MM2 station in about 40 minutes.

How to reach  the Campus by Car

The campus is easily accessible by car, being located near the outer ring road close to Viale Cassala.

From outside the city, it can be reached via the Famagosta exit of the Western Tangenziale (Bypass).

An underground parking garage is available on campus, accessible from Via Russoli.
Additional paid parking spaces are available in the surrounding area.
