Student Path

Everything you need to start your internship experience. From completing your online resume to the latest company offers, a guide to choosing the internship that's right for you.
The Career Service and Business Relations Office provides students attending the University with a platform, created with Almalaurea, for the promotion of curricular internships that enrich their wealth of skills, introducing them to the world of work.

Curricular internships are periods of internship carried out by students regularly enrolled at the University, at organizations and companies outside the University. This type of internship begins and ends before the date of graduation. Reimbursement of expenses is at the discretion of the company where the internship is carried out.
For a Bachelor and Master of Science degree it can last from a minimum of 1 month to a maximum of 12 months. For Master, however, provides for a maximum duration of 6 months.

The services offered to students through the new platform are numerous:

- consultation of the internship offers published online; -
possibility of registration to the platform and compilation/updating of the curriculum vitae online; - self-application
to the internship offers submitted by the companies;

To view the offers of internships, you can click on "Search for vacancies / internships" in the control panel and then click on "Jobs and internships" (logo IULM), while to access the platform you must click on "Access to internship and placement services through the page of online services". A closed group on facebook #IULM for job has also been set up to which only and exclusively IULM students and graduates have access in order to be informed about the most relevant internship and placement offers in line with their profiles. This space offers its members a complete overview of the activities and events sponsored by the Office Career Service and Relations with Companies.

The stages
 Once the training project has been approved by the tutor teacher through the online system of internship activation, the Company / Body will send 3 copies of the training project stamped and signed by the Legal Representative or his delegate to the Office Career Service and Relations with Businesses of 'University.

The Career Service and Business Relations Office will send the documentation to the legal representative for signature and then the student will be called by the staff of the Office to collect the documents to be brought to the company.

Please note: the attainment of the degree determines the interruption of the internship activated by the student.

Final
evaluations At the end of the internship, the company tutor and the trainee will receive an e-mail inviting them to complete their final evaluations. Please note that filling in this form will allow to obtain the recognition of CFU.

In
the event that there is a need to prematurely interrupt, extend or temporarily suspend the internship, the Institution/Company must enter the request, by accessing the detailed page of the training project, in the online platform of Almalaurea. Requests for extension and suspension must be submitted at least one week before the deadline.
Internships at newspapers, radio and television
magazines Students of the Bachelor of Science and Master of Science programs will not be able to carry out internships related to editorial activities in newspapers, radio and television. The above is required by the agreement signed with the National Council of the Order of Journalists, which has allowed the School of Journalism of the University IULM to be accredited as a suitable place to carry out the internship and the State Examination for registration in the Register of Professional Journalists. The restriction does not apply to students of the Master in Journalism.
