From the academic year 2019/20, admission to the degree courses is subject to an admission test.

The tests are open to candidates with a secondary school diploma and to students attending the fourth and fifth years of secondary school, with the exception of the tests for the degree course in Interpreting and Communication, reserved only for candidates with a secondary school diploma and for students attending the fifth year of secondary school.

The fourth year secondary school students who participate in the admission tests can maintain the score obtained and access a dedicated enrolment window (November 2019) to register with priority for the academic year 2020/21, following procedures that will be communicated later.

For the degree courses in Arts, Media and Cultural Events; Tourism, Management and Territory; and Interpreting and Communication, the test will not be selective, but aimed at verifying personal skills. Only if all available places are filled will a ranking be drawn up on the basis of the test results.

For the degree courses in Corporate Communication and Public Relations, and Communication, Media and Advertising, the test is selective with applicants placed on a ranking list drawn up on the basis of academic merit and test results. In particular, the position in the ranking will be based on the following criteria (only for candidates already holding a diploma or attending the fifth year at secondary school):

    • 50% on the test result;
    • 40% on school records (average of grades obtained in 3rd and 4th years);
    • 10% on level of knowledge of the English language.

For the degree course in Corporate Communication and Public Relations held in English the test is selective with applicants placed on a ranking list drawn up on the basis of academic merit and test results. In particular, the position in the ranking will be based on the following criteria (only for candidates already holding a diploma or attending the fifth year at secondary school):

    • 50% on the test result;
    • 50% on school records (average of grades obtained in 3rd and 4th years);

    To take the test applicants are required to have knowledge of English equivalent to level B2 of the CEFR:

    • candidates with an international language certificate (the original copy must be presented) obtained no more than three years ago will have direct access to the test.
    • candidates who do not have a language certificate (or have one which is no longer valid) must take a language assessment test which, if passed (i.e. demonstrating knowledge of English at level B2 or above), will allow them to take the admission test. Candidates who do not pass the language test will have access to the admission test to the degree course in Corporate Communication and Public Relations held in Italian.

Test registration - Sessions for 2019/20

Applications for the test must be made through our Online Services and must be accompanied by the payment of a fee of €120.

To enrol for the test you must register in advance.

After registering, through your profile you can enrol for the test by clicking "Admission test". Make sure that you have at hand (even if you have already graduated) in electronic format (file, scan, photo) your third and fourth year reports (or only third year if you are currently in your the fourth year) and any English language certification (only if obtained in the last three years).

If you are enrolled in an Italian school but have attended the fourth year abroad, you will only be asked for the third-year report.

If you attend a foreign school, only the last available school report will be required.

If you attend an Italian school, you will be asked to calculate the average grade of your third and/or fourth year (depending on the year you are attending - excluding grades in physical education, religion and conduct) and enter the result rounded to one decimal place (e.g. 7.53 = 7.5; 6.55 = 6.6; 6.96 = 7.0)

It is possible to take more than one test for different degree courses by paying the enrolment fee for each test.
The enrolment fee will be deducted (only once for the course in which you enrol) from the first installment in case of confirmation of enrolment; no refund will be given in any other case.

If you wish to repeat the test you will not have to pay the test registration fee (€120) but you will have to remember to re-submit the application for the test through the Online Services.

Application for the test comprises:

  • Registration via Online Services;
  • Request for enrolment in the test for the chosen degree course;
  • Providing average grade for 3rd and 4th years at school and uploading 3rd and 4th year school reports (only 3rd year for 4th year students).
