Unique in its kind in Europe, the Master is aimed at students eager to create video games and interactive experiences of the highest level, capable of communicating ideas and deep emotions through gameplay.
Directed by Gianni Canova and coordinated by Matteo Bittanti, the Master includes theoretical and practical modules taught by professional video game developers, designers, artists and academics of international renown. The program provides all the tools you need to embark on a specialized career in the field of video games and digital art. Students will become fully familiar with the production of creative, artistic and experimental video games, game studies and visual arts.
In the course of the academic year, students will work on their ownor in teams to design, develop, produce, promote and distribute a video game or interactive experience for international competitions and festivals.
In addition to offering numerous professional opportunities in international and Italian video game companies, the Master encourages students to create their own independent production studio. At the end of the course, IULM University will confer a Master of Arts diploma in Game Design.
The Master is aimed at three-year (or five-year) graduates in subjects such as art, media and communication, computer science, design or architecture as well as professionals who have acquired significant work experience in their field. The program has a limited number of places available. Candidates will be selected through a rigorous process of selection.
