Full Professor of Cultural Economics
RESEARCH LINES:
Cultural economics: cultural production regimes, cultural participation, organizational and business models for core cultural sectors and for cultural and creative industries, new forms of digital production and participation, cultural policy, culture and local development processes. The New European Agenda for Culture and cultural crossovers: culture, health and wellbeing; culture and social cohesion; culture and innovation; culture and climate change. Culture and circular economic models. Culture as a platform of behavioral change: interactions with cognitive and social psychology, and with cognitive and social
neuroscience. Cultural welfare models. Culture and social inclusion, in urban and rural contexts. Culture and social innovation. Culture and urban regeneration, with special interest toward inclusion and to the role of artistic practices in the public domain. Computational social science: applications in economics, geopolitics, social change, science of science, cultural ecosystems. Models of cultural transmission. Applications of neural and evolutionary computing to social science. Complex dynamics in economic and social contexts.
