I obtained the B.Sc. in Electronics Engineering from Politecnico di Milano in 2014 and the M.Sc. in Electronics Bioengineering from Alma Mater Studiorum – Università di Bologna in 2018. I obtained the License to Practice as a Professional Engineer from Politecnico di Milano in 2020.

In 2017 I collaborated (rif. DPG 2018-14), as a consultant, at the Department of General Psychology of Università di Padova within the project “EEG signal analysis using Machine Learning Techniques”. From 2018 to 2019 i collaborated, as Bioengineer, with the Behavior and Brain Lab IULM - Neuromarketing Research Center of Università IULM. From 2019 to 2022 I had been Research Fellow (rif. 18559) at the Department of Business, Law, Economics and Consumer Behaviour “Carlo A. Ricciardi” of Università IULM within the project “Study of bioelectrical and biometric signals and development of machine learning models for emotion detection to integrate classical market research data for neuromarketing applications to the dairy sector – Ager Project”.

I am co-author of 15 peer-reviewed papers published in journals and international conference proceedings, such as F1000 Research, Frontiers in Psychology and Proceedings of the Annual International Conference of the IEEE Engineering in Medicine & Biology Society (EMBS). I serve as referee for the journals Plos One, Cognitive Neurodynamics, Biocibernetic and Biomedical Engineering, Frontiers in Psychiatry and Scientific Reports.

I have been a Member of the IEEE (Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers) since 2010 and of the IEEE-EMBS (Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers) since 2018. I have been a Chartered Engineer of the Engineers Council of Milan (Section A, Information Technology Engineering Sector) since 2020.

Digital Signal Processing and Machine Learning of bioelectrical signals with applications to Neuromarketing, Affective Computing and Human Performances fields.
