She has launched and directed:

  • the M.Sc. in Hospitality and Tourism Management, a dual degree program in partnership with the University of Central Florida - USA (Rosen College of Hospitality Management) and the Université de Grenoble Alpes – France;
  • the Executive Master in Guest Service Management in partnership with NH Hotel Group and AccorHotels Group.

2006- present

She has directed the Territorial and Tourism Sector of the IULM University Foundation, launching and directing several research project (see RESEARCH FUNDING paragraph).

She has directed the Tourism Area of Scuola di Comunicazione IULM where she has set up executive training activities on tourism management and communication in partnership with Accor, NH, Starwood.

2004- present

She has launched and has directed the Master in Tourism Management (MTM) at IULM University. In 2007 the MTM programme became the first and only degree programme taught in English at IULM University. It was selected to be part of the training programme within Milan EXPO 2015.

Since 2004 the MTM programme:

  • has generated more € 3.137.000 of revenues and € 448.000 of  profit.
  • has received 1440 applications from 57 countries from which were selected 280 participants from 34 countries;
  • has established partnerships with over 150 leading companies who act as sponsors of the program or are involved in teaching activities, filed projects, internships or research (including Starwood, Intercontinental, Accor, Best Western, Uvet-American Express, Amadeus)
  • has developed an international network that includes teachers from the following universities: University of Central Florida (Rosen College of Hospitality Management), Cornell University– USA;  Purdue University –USA; James Cook University, Wollongong University and Queensland University – Australia; Erasmus University -Rotterdam; St Gallen University – Switzerland; Wales University - UK; Leuven University - Belgium; Université de Grenoble Alpes – France; Peking University – China;
  • has developed more than 40 business plans and field projects for partner companies.
